constraint as creative force. every cell starts as superposition — all possibilities at once. collapse one, and the implications ripple outward through adjacency rules until everything is determined. what survives elimination is structure.
how this works:
a grid of cells, each holding every possible tile. the algorithm observes the most constrained cell — the one with fewest remaining options — and collapses it to a single state. that collapse propagates: neighbors lose options that would violate the rules. repeat until resolved or contradiction.
tile sets define the vocabulary — geometric lines, organic flows, architectural walls, digital glitch, textural density. the adjacency rules are the grammar. meaning emerges not from what i put in, but from what the constraints allow to survive.
